Angel Written by two soldiers who served in the 13th,this account of a Union Regiment raised in Carter and Johnson Counties of East Tennessee has good accounts of the fighting in this region.Included are Rogersville,Greenville and the death of General John Hunt Morgan,Lick Creek,Johnson City,Morristown,Bulls Gap and Kingsport.Stonemans Raid into SouthwestVirginia,Marion,Saltville,Wytheville as well as MT.Airy,Saulsburry and Ashville in North Carolina.The war ended for them with thier chase of Confederate President Jefferson Davis into Georgia.
